After 3 days into my trip in HNL, I finally visited Tadka Indian Cuisine, and it truly hit the spot! The yellow dal was the highlight for me — I added just a little salt, and it tasted exactly like my homemade South Indian dal. It instantly satisfied all my cravings from back home. Other dishes were also very good, with mild, comforting flavors that felt fresh and well-balanced. I even asked for three cups of white rice and finally got to enjoy my proper South Indian Papu Annam. Thank you, Tadka, for such delicious and soulful food — it made my trip even better! Highly recommend for anyone missing authentic Indian flavors in Honolulu.
